Aderibigbe John Olalere (Mr.)
Mr. Aderibigbe John Olalere is an accomplished economist and public administrator. He attended the University of Ibadan, where he bagged a Bachelors of Science degree in Economics and later proceeded to New York University, New York, USA for his Masters degree in Economics in 1982.
During his over two decades of service at the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), he was at various times Assistant Director (Head, Money & Banking Office), Deputy Director (Head, Domestic Finance Division) and special adviser to the CBN governor on Economic Matters.
He was a part-time Board Director of Societe General Bank Nigeria Ltd. He served as member of the inter-ministerial committee on the establishment of Discount Houses in Nigeria, member of the inter-governmental group of experts on the establishment of African Monetary Fund-Addis Ababa- (1985), Non- Executive Commissioner –Securities & Exchange Commission (2000-2004), Non- Executive Director-Enterprise Bank Ltd (2011-2014)
He is a member of the Nigerian Economic Society (NES) and the Nigerian Institute of Bankers.
